Dr Cara Wasywich

Cara Wasywich trained as a cardiologist at Green Lane Hospital. She worked subsequently as a research fellow (focusing on the management of heart failure) and a cardiac transplant fellow in Auckland before spending time in Vancouver, Canada in 2005 undertaking further specialist training. 

She currently practices as a cardiologist at Auckland City Hospital and at The Heart Group.  Her interests include heart failure and cardiac transplantation, general cardiology including acute coronary syndromes and echocardiography, and the management of cardiovascular disease in women.
