Dr Dani Wei

Dani Wei is a clinical cardiologist at Middlemore Hospital’s Coronary Care Unit with subspecialty expertise in cardiac imaging. Her practice includes transthoracic, transoesophageal, and stress echocardiography, as well as cardiovascular computed
tomography.

Dani grew up in South Auckland, Tokoroa, and Hamilton before completing her medical degree at the University of Auckland. She subsequently undertook advanced training in cardiology and was awarded Fellowship of the Adult Medicine Division of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP).

Following her specialist training, Dani completed a Cardiac Imaging Fellowship at Counties Manukau Health, where she developed expertise in echocardiography and cardiac CT.

She has a particular interest in cardiovascular disease in pregnancy and is involved in the multidisciplinary cardiac–obstetric clinics at Manukau Health Park.
